NIKE Storytelling by Design Footwear Competition
On this design team, I proposed ideas, and spearheaded the visual production of the final design of the Sacai shoe silhouette. I came up with the idea of the shoe impacting black women, and was responsible for the social justice aspect of the design and presentation.

This deck was one of my first ever applied designs, commissioned during summer, 2016. I worked with OverBoard’s creative director and founder, who allowed me to be one of the first original artists to submit a design for his start up board company.
I designed this cutting board by focusing on structure and creativity as two guiding themes. Its unique shape sets it apart from most boards, and its exotic woods give it a sort of individuality in its structure, while also providing a colorful aesthetic. The leopard wood in the center is the heart of this piece, as the purple heart and canary woods that surround it, help to show off its grain. Cut and built by hand, this cutting board displays elements of design and highlights the importance of careful consideration when designing any product.
A commission: this guitar design was a commission from a professional musician in the DC area. The strat style body, as well as the head stock have been spray painted using stencils and straight edges to make the shapes of the planets and their shine. The paint marbling technique used on the head stock creates a glossy finish that compliments the colors and strokes used in the body. The guitar is completely functional, and finished with a clear coat, to protect the paint while it is played.
